• 15% of recent water samples from Philly public schools had lead levels higher than federal residential standards, and some were even 10-75 times above the limit.
• Despite working with city council to implement stronger standards in 2016, still more must be done.
• Per the Academy of Pediatrics: our kids will lose approx. 23 million IQ points from lead exposure—mostly due to the high number of kids exposed to low levels of lead.
